No e-mail recipient

I'm using an iPhone 5S software 8.0.2
I've noticed a recent issue when sending an e-mail using the standard Apple mail app.
I've entered my recipient (I'm noticing it when using a previous/stored recipient), then typed my email and clicked send. All seems to go fine however I later noticed that the e-mail is sat in my outbox saying "No recipient" asif I never added anyone to begin with.
Is there something I am doing wrong - has anyone else noticed this?

If the Apple Mail application on your iPhone is not preserving the recipients on your email as it goes to the Outbox, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - 
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Specifically -
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.
