Which 21.5" iMac is better for me?

I'm looking at the 21.5" iMac models right now and trying to decide whether the dedicated ATI HD4670 model is worth the extra cash.
As an undergraduate I have a student discount at Apple, so the low end NVIDIA iMac is reduced to £834, while the ATI equipped model is £1055.
I want to use the iMac for making video reviews with Final Cut and i'm quite a prolific Photoshop user too.
Would I see noticeable benefits from upgrading to a dedicated graphics card that would really justify the additional cost? eg. much faster video rendering or awesome new hardware-accelerated options in design software, etc.
In the end both models have the same 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo processor, same screen size and same 4GB of RAM, so (other than the hard drive) the graphics card seems the only point of difference.
So i ask you: which is the better option for me?
All I can tell you is, the NVIDIA 9400M is seriously under-powered for the 24" iMac (the previous generation). Sure, it works, but things like Expose and Spaces aren't as smooth as you'd expect.
The ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics with 256MB is supposed to be up to 4x as fast as the NVIDIA 9400M. So that should definitely improve things.
Remember, the 24" iMac has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, whereas the new 21.5" iMac has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. So, despite the 21.5" iMac having a smaller screen, it actually has the same name of horizontal pixels as the 24" iMac.
